After Christmas Shopping Haul

Hey friends!! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, I feel like it went by so quickly :( School got out the Friday before Christmas and I feel like I didn't even really get to enjoy the season because of finals! Although, I am so excited to ring in the new year!! This year, me and a bunch of girl friends are going out to dinner, what are your plans??
Anyways, since my birthday is close to christmas, both of my grandparents give me money for my birthday, then money for christmas and we go shopping with it all!! I ordered a lot of skincare and other things as well so that took up some of it, but here's what I got with the rest !!(still have some, thinking of saving for spring clothes 😏)

American Eagle

AE WAFFLE MOCK NECK SWEATER DRESS

Product Image

I am always hesitant to buy turtle necks because they can be super itchy and irritating around my neck but when I tried this on, I didn't even feel it around my neck. It looks tight but it actually feels looser and is so comfortable. I am wearing a size small. I just had leggings on when I was trying this on, but I probably won't actually wear leggings with it. It's on sale for $42 on American Eagle online right now, if you click the link above, it will take you directly there!

Before walking in the store I already knew I wanted this. I saw a similar sweater on Heather Poppie's instagram page (@heatherpoppie), that she wore with a flannel underneath and it was SO cute. I tried it on and the fit was great, I am wearing a size small. It's on sale for  $35 (usually $45). Grab one before they sell out!!!

This is actually the flannel I got to go under the crew neck sweater pictured right above. ^^  It's currently on sale for $16 (originally $45). It's made of super soft woven cotton A.K.A. heaven. It's boyfriend fit and meant to be a bit looser, I got it in a size small.

Victoria Secret
Ok, they don't call this bra "T-Shirt Bra" for no reason. I would literally wear this with a t-shirt any and everyday. It is the most comfortable bra EVER. I got one in light pink and one in a burgundy color (the last two there!!) They are usually sold at $40, but they are on sale for $15!!!! They are having their semi-annual sale, so go snag yourself a couple before they sell out, you will thank me later 😌  I also grabbed some panties BECAUSE THEY ARE ONLY $4! WHAT!? I got four pairs for under $20 which is crazy for VS!!

 Sephora

Skin to Die For™ No- Filter Mattifying Primer & Complexion Perfector

When I walked in I was actually looking for the Origins Pore Perfecting Make Up Primer, buttt they were out 😩 However, they helped me find another one that did exactly what I wanted. I said I wanted one that was healthy for my skin but still concealed my pores. Peter Thomas Roth is a skincare line and it's made for all skin types. It helps with pores, wrinkles, and oiliness. Perfect! It was $27 at Sephora.

It Cosmetics CC Cream

This was another thing I knew I wanted. I currently use Naked Skin Foundation by Urban Decay, but I decided I wanted something a little lighter and healthier for my skin for an everyday natural look. It's perfect for any skin type and bonus, it has spf! It gives really great coverage especially for just a CC cream, as well as hydrating your skin. It's infused with anti-anging serum to reduce appearance of wrinkles and pores. This product is made without the use of parabens and phthalates. It is $38 at Sephora.

Electric Violet Swirl Beauty Blender

This is definitely something I was talked into haha! The lady who was helping me find the make up I wanted had asked me what I use to apply my foundation/CC cream and I told her I had brushes. She then proceeded to tell me how much she loved the beauty blender and how it gives a flawless complexion, so I was sucked in and bought it. It really is a game changer. You wet it before use, then dab it in your foundation then lightly dab all over your face. Be sure not to rub or the beauty blender might soak up more make up than blend. I bought this one for $20 at Sephora.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder

I have seen SO many raves about this powder and I decided I needed to try it! I was still a little skeptical because I currently use this Tarte tinted finishing powder, which is colored. I didn't know how I would feel about a translucent powder, but I really love it, it helped keep my make up fresh all day long. Even when I said this is what I wanted, the lady at Sephora said it was one of their best sellers, no wonder!

Ulta

Mario Badescu Enzyme Revitalizing Mask

I knew I wanted a good face mask, but I didn't know which one. I had narrowed it down to this mask and this  Tula Exfoliating Treatment Mask. I was familiar with these two brands, so I knew either would be good. After consulting a worker, she said Mario Badescu was super popular so she had to vouch for that one because not many people had bought the Tula. I'm sure that one is amazing, and I wanted to try it sometime, but the Mario badescu was also $22 cheaper, so I was sold. I used it the night I got it, and I love it!! Masks are my absolute fav. It says to use this 2-3 times a week so I'm going to aim to do it every 3 nights. It's great for breaking down the dead skin and is moisturizing as well. It is $20 at Ulta, also sold on Amazon for the same price.

Rx3 Soft and Smooth Shut Eye Sleep Mask

I haven't tried this out yet, but I was just looking for any sleep mask because the light that comes through my room in the morning is blinding. I've seen a lot of good reviews about this Slip Silk Sleep Mask but it was  $50 and I didn't think it was worth it. I just wanted something to shield my eyes from the sun lol. This was only $9 at Ulta.

Online

ABERCROMBIE LACE TRIM CAMI

I was actually hoping to buy this in store, but they were out of black. It's on sale for $15.30 (orig, $34) !! I oredered it online so it was about $24 after tax and shipping, which is still $10 less than the original price! I ordered mine in a size small. I think this will be so cute with a cardigan and some black booties.

Steve Madden Womens Clareese Booties

I think these are so adorable. Originally I saw a blogger wearing these Jeffery Campbell booties ($124)  and fell in love!! I was about the buy these but then as I was looking on amazon I found these Steve Madden ones! They are almost exactly the same, but I think I like the steve madden better because the heel is a little bit shorter. I will be wearing these on NYE (pic to come ;))
